SECURITY BULLETIN Suspicious Behavior around Children

Time of Incident: June 14, 2012, 6:03 pm

Location of Incident: Diagonal (900 Block North University), Ann Arbor

Description of Subject: White male, 69 yrs. of age, 5’8”, 220 pounds, medium length grey hair, short grey beard, address in Wisconsin

Vehicle: 2004 Ford Explorer, black, with a Wisconsin plate


The subject approached a group of 14-year old girls and started asking personal questions. He told them they were “beautiful” and asked them if they wanted to leave with him. No crime was committed, however the behavior was concerning.

He has also been identified as engaging in similar behaviors in other southeast Michigan communities. He is a resident of Wisconsin, with no known Michigan address.

No criminal charges are pending; this information is for awareness purposes only.

  • Look assertive and be aware of your surroundings.
  • Be aware that your risk increases in secluded and isolated areas.
